We’re Amanda and Kyle, owners of Blue Mountain Event Co. - a couple with a love for love! We have turned our passion for weddings into a career — helping other couples bring their dream days to life. What makes us different? We’re planning weddings from the heart, because we’ve been in your shoes.

We know firsthand the excitement, the overwhelm, and the countless decisions that come with planning a wedding. That perspective allows us to approach every event with empathy, creativity, and real-life experience. Blue Mountain Event Co. is a full-service wedding and event company that specializes in the relationships behind the day.   • Co-Owner & Lead Planner

    Clients have described me as passionate and fiercely dedicated - but more importantly, as their best friend on their wedding day. Working so closely with clients allows me to really understand who they are as a person and what they themselves are passionate about for their special day.

    When I am not taking care of all your wedding details, I am usually found hammocking with a good glass of wine, playing trivia with my partner in crime at a local hang out, exploring Colorado's wilderness, capturing life behind the lens of a camera and baking all the good smelling things.

  • Co-Owner & Associate Planner

    Clients have described me as full of energy and dedicated to making sure their special day is one to remember. Working so closely with our clients is something I enjoy the most. Learning and adapting to the needs of a couple is something that just makes the day so special not only for our clients but for myself as well.

    When I am not enjoying the day of a wedding, you can find me relaxing watching the Colorado Avalanche, or getting a round of golf in. I love to play board games with my other half and travel. During the winter months, I enjoy going to the movies with a big bag of popcorn while I sip on a local IPA. Colorado is my home and I love that I get to spend my free time in our great state.

    One of our favorite things to see at weddings is specialty drinks created specifically for the bride and groom. In our life, we have themed bartender challenges during the holidays in our house where we pick a theme (like spooky season) and we eat create a craft cocktail for the other person to enjoy.

  • Putt Putt Golf

    One of our first dates was to a local putt putt course and it is now one of our go to date night adventures! When the weather is good we will absolutely be competing with each other for the most holes in one.

    Everyone likes to get away once in a while, but we LOVE exploring new places and finding hidden gems. Right now, we are mostly staying in the continental US, but have big dreams to travel overseas to some familiar places (like Costa Rica) and some new places (like Germany).

    We have caffeine to thank for getting us through long wedding days. We would be lying if we said that we could function properly without a good cup of coffee or energy drink in the morning.   • We work with all types of budgets! We want to help you select that services that make sense for you and your specific needs no matter your budget.

  • You can add any a la carte service onto your wedding package or you can book services on their own. Yes, we offer wedding packages, but we also specialize in being there for all your pre and post wedding events too! Everything from engagement parties to post wedding brunches and all the gatherings in between. We know getting married is about more than just the wedding day, so we want to be there every step of the way.

  • We are currently only taking bookings via email or our website. Once we chat more about what your needs are and how we can best provide services for you, we use Honeybook to make the entire process as easy and stress free for you as possible.

  • Events brought us together as a team and as a couple (literally, we met while working at a wedding venue together). That’s why we love this business so much; we want to help bring people together too! We truly care about the memories that you and your guests make and want the experience leading up to your big day to be just as wonderful as the day itself.

  • One of our favorite things working with weddings is seeing all the new and creative ways brides incorporate the “something blue” tradition and we got our start working weddings in the mountains of Colorado and we find a lot of inspiration from them.
